2004 Product of the Year from FCSI (Foodservice Consultants Society International)
Nashville, TN (September 16, 2004) Meiko received the FCSI 2004 Product of the Year award for their Mike 2 computerized control system on the Point 2 series line of warewashers at the recent FCSI conference held in Toronto. The Mike 2 is a computerized control system with integrated infrared technology that allows communication with a single unit or multiple units via a handheld PC. The Mike 2 facilitates one-touch operations such as start-up, timed cycle selection and machine shut down. The Mike 2 also allows control of the internal booster heater to ensure constant 150° wash and 180° rinse water temperatures, regardless of incoming water temperatures. The infrared controller can also be used for service diagnostics, machine programming or to check individual operating components. Complete operating history, including cycle selection count, error code records, installation and service dates are also tracked by the Mike 2.
